So here we
are!!!. In 2011 we'll have three new tracks: "Le Colline"
International Circuit, in Chignolo Po (Pavia, near Milan), the "ASC
Quattroruote" Test Track -Vairano (Pavia, only 15 miles
away from Milan) and the "FIAT Group Test Track" -
Balocco(Vercelli, Piemonte). You can see the details by
clicking on the tracks above and/or in "The Trophy" part of this
site. We would like to give you some little tips: "Le Colline"
circuit is over 1,2 Miles lenght, very fast, while the "ASC
Quattroruote" is medium/fast, 2,19 Miles lenght. At the top the
"FIAT Group Test Track": we'll use a 2.06 miles track, part of
the "Alfa Romeo circuit", used for F1 test in the '80s when Alfa
Romeo was racing in the F1 Championship. The race format will be
quite different. All events scheduled on Saturday, starting at 08.00am with
1hr Practice, then 15 mins Qualifying and one 6hrs Race(Manche-1).
In Manche-1 all the Teams will race with the new Birel "My First
Kart" chassis with Subaru 210cc 4 stroke engines. At the end of
Manche-1, the best Team classified will race in Manche-2 (
45 mins Qualifying and 1hr and 30mins race) with the same
chassis but with a new 4 stroke 4speed 170cc engine, while the
others will continue with the same kart used in Manche-1. Teams can have from three to eight
drivers, from 16 years old with A.C.S.I. Membership (including
insurance)and a valid medical certificate
proving good health status. Drivers must race for stints of 15 minutes
max during race and must weight 188lbs (85Kilos)minimum. Lighter drivers will be weighted
with a fast-release weighting system on the kart during the
driver-change in the pits. You can find all the details in the "Rules
